KAEDCO seeks collaboration with NSCDC in Zamfara

The new Regional Manager of Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company, KAEDCO Mr. Musa Muazu Aliyu has visited the Zamfara state command of
Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC on familiarity tour, seeking collaboration for better productivity in the state.

The statement by ASCII Umar Mohammed the Public Relations officer of the command revealed that, the visit aimed to familiarize and induce better energy to existing relationship in the state.

The Regional Manager in his remarks, appreciated the Corps for its efforts in securing the nation’s critical assets and infrastructure; he noted NSCDC as a viable ally of the distribution companies.

Mr. Muazu Aliyu termed the relationship with NSCDC, mutually complementary and reenforcing. In this light, “I deemed it essential to establish a cordial working relationship with your command upon my assumption of duty in the state in order to better my department’s productivity” submitted the Regional Manager.

CC Sani Mustapha in his response, acknowledged that, the growth of every state is proportional to power supply.

Power is a sensitive and delicate sector that requires comprehensive security support and under his watch, the command shall not relent its efforts to providing adequate security to the electric plants within the confines of Zamfara state.

Furthermore, the state commandant assured KAEDCO, Zamfara Regional Office of the command’s maximum support to curb vandalism and sabotage to the electric sector in the state to improve growth and productivity.
