The Zamfara state chapter of All Progressive Congress APC vehemently frowned upon the blackmail, betrayal and other anti-party dealings of Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi Shamba and his cohort warning him to desist or face the consequences of his actions as the party is fully aware of all his romance with the PDP in the state.

In a statement issued by Comrade Yusuf Idris Gusau, APC Publicity Secretary to Journalists in Zamfara, it was revealed that, the name Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi is synonymous with betrayal, envy, frustrations and meddlesomeness using each or all of his maddening conditions and antics whenever and wherever it suits him.

Since 2019 when Bello Mohammed Matawalle became governor in Zamfara State, Shinkafi who had lost it all in All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA and was in desperate search for where to lump his shameless face, found succour in the new government of Matawalle who he found accommodating and willing and felt he could come and make free money and he did too using lies and unsuccessful cheap blackmails having been tolerated by the then Governor.

Even when he claimed to have brought in his APGA supporters to Matawalle, the supporters had to leave him to follow Matawalle while refusing to be known as Sani Shinkafi camp members, a development which upset him but he couldn’t do anything to spoil his scavenging benefits on the government especially the governor.

So it had been, up to the Tinubu/Shatima Presidential Campaigns time where he saw an opening to disturb Matawalle until he was enlisted into the campaigns team without any defined responsibility because of his unwholesome tendencies, and when the APC emerged victorious, he continued to push for a lucrative position even when everyone knew he contributed nothing to earn the federal government’s confidence.

Having lost it all again and the people he has been following don’t trust or have left him to wallow, Sani Shinkafi retreated to Zamfara seeking absolution from the PDP governor even as he claims to be an APC member (not leader nor chieftain) and in trying to manipulate the government into liking him, felt the best way is to start causing trouble for Matawalle which is an easy spot on governor Dauda Lawal who always sees Matawalle as a threat.

In order to attack Matawalle, an immediate past governor and Minister of Defence, is to use the insecurity situation in the state against him.

Now with nowhere to go, Shinkafi who was Matawalle’s serial praise singer both while as governor and as Minister in his present position before the betrayal came from the ingrate known as Sani Shinkafi.

In his most recent and haphazard statement, he indicated that Kabiru Mafara was forced out of the APC when in actual sense, Marafa who couldn’t secure any appointment left on his own volition boasting that he had made several moves against and for the APC to sack him but it didn’t which was why he exited himself.

As for Sani Jaji of the House of Representatives, he was found guilty of anti-party activities on many counts before he was finally dismissed. Meanwhile, supporters of both Marafa and Jaji knowing fully well the circumstances that led to their former leaders’ exits have remained strong loyalists of the APC to the disappointment of the shinkafis who cannot even win his polling unit for any political party.

As for the acclaimed division in the APC in Zamfara, we make bold to say that the APC has never been so united in Zamfara as it is now, courtesy of the party leaders especially Minister Matawalle, Senator Abdul’aziz Yari, Senator Yarima Bakura, former governor Mamuda Shinkafi among others.

It was this unity that made the APC to overwhelmingly defeat the ruling PDP in the state at the recent by-election for Kaura-Namoda South State Assembly election and we remain highly confident that even with the combination of betrayers like the money seeking monger Sani Shinkafi, anti party activist Sani Jaji and envious Kabiru Mafara, the APC is heading for a strong comeback in Zamfara come 2027.

As APC is waxing stronger in Zamfara State will ensure that no stone is left unturned especially those with ill motive against the party’s success and unity.

The party is calling on Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi to redress himself or face the consequences of his actions because we know of all his romance with the PDP in the state.

He must understand that the time of media blackmail or propaganda is over as citizens are wiser now and politically more educated.

The party remains grateful to President Bola Ahmed for finding one of its leaders, Bello Mohammed Matawalle worthy of trust and we commend his proactiveness in actualizing the president’s fight against insecurity in the country, the party is also proud of his dedication and patriotism which he always exhibits in discharging his assigned national responsibility.

The party is solemnly behind the two leaders, Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar and Bello Mohammed Matawalle on whom we will always pass vote of our confidence.

The haters can bury themselves in shame while the unity of APC members in Zamfara will not be compromised.
