Rt. Hon. Patty Etete Inemeh, former member of the House of Representatives and Special Adviser on Strategy and Creative Economy to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, has expressed confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s creative economy policy will generate millions of jobs for Nigerians.

Speaking with journalists on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Onomo Allure Hotels, Afreximbank Towers, during the Fashion Fusion Africa 2025, Etete commended the administration’s commitment to developing the creative sector through the establishment of Creative Economy Villages across Nigeria.

According to him, “President Tinubu’s Number 10 Policy on the Creative Economy — which proposes one Creative Economy Village per state — is a novel initiative whose time has come. It has the potential to employ millions of Nigerians, keep young talents engaged, and strengthen the nation’s GDP.”

Etete lauded the Minister of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy for efforts toward the establishment of a Creative Economic Development Trust Fund, designed to empower startups with innovative ideas.

He urged Nigerian youths to take advantage of these government-backed opportunities, seek mentorship, and actively collaborate with relevant agencies to harness the full potential of the creative industry.
