The New Nigeria Initiative for Better Leadership and Ambassadors of the Renewed Hope Agenda has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing his Renewed Hope Agenda as a transformative blueprint for national development.

Speaking during a world press conference held at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Press Centre on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, in Abuja, the National Leader of the group, High Chief Adolph Agbala-Izuegbu (KSJI), said the organization was established to promote and ensure the full realization of the Tinubu administration’s people-oriented policies.

“We have carried out rigorous research and found that the Renewed Hope Agenda is designed to liberate Nigerians from past economic bondage and build an egalitarian society where no Nigerian is more Nigerian than another,” Agbala-Izuegbu stated.

He emphasized that the initiative is determined to mobilize citizens across all geopolitical zones to support the government’s policies aimed at improving living standards and boosting economic resilience.

According to him, President Tinubu’s administration has demonstrated strong leadership through key reforms such as the removal of fuel subsidy and the harmonization of foreign exchange rates, policies he described as “bold steps that have brought a breath of fresh air to the nation.”

Highlighting progress under the Renewed Hope Agenda, Agbala-Izuegbu commended the administration’s focus on infrastructure, education, and economic revitalization. He cited landmark projects such as the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway, major road rehabilitations, the Nigeria Education Loan Fund, and the expansion of technical and vocational education as clear evidence of the government’s commitment to national development.

The organization also applauded ongoing poverty alleviation programmes, including conditional cash transfers, business grants, and support for vulnerable groups. Agbala-Izuegbu expressed optimism about the forthcoming Renewed Hope National Home-Grown School Feeding Programme, which he said would further uplift disadvantaged communities.

On developments within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the National Leader praised Minister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike for his “unwavering commitment” to the Renewed Hope Agenda through massive infrastructural projects that have “redefined Abuja into a world-class city.”

“Our goal is mass mobilization, to engage Nigerians, sensitize them, and ensure that the Renewed Hope Agenda reaches every household,” Agbala-Izuegbu explained. “We are establishing branches in all 36 states to strengthen our outreach and promote the dividends of democracy.”

He urged Nigerians to remain patient and supportive, noting that nation-building “is not a hundred-metre dash but a painstaking and passionate journey that requires unity and vision.”

Other dignitaries present at the conference included Ambassador Dr. Eunice Bola Adeosun, Mr. Monday Abua (Director General), Major General Patrick Adamu Akpa (Rtd.), and Ambassador Engr. Dr. Victoria Adenike Augustina, among others, all of whom expressed their alignment with the group’s mission and President Tinubu’s developmental vision.
