Music legend Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi has implored Nigerian students to use their knowledge and skills to inspire positive change and contribute to national development.

Obey-Fabiyi stated this at the signing-out ceremony of 79 students from the sixth graduating set of Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, held at the Ebenezer Obey Music and Life Skills Institute, Abeokuta Centre, on Saturday.

He urged the graduates to let their achievements reflect the values of discipline, hard work, and service to humanity, explaining that the centre was established to empower young people and give back to society through education and moral development.

Also speaking, the Director of the Centre for Part-Time and Professional Studies, Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, Dr Lateef Mustapha, described the graduation as a celebration of resilience, creativity, and lifelong learning.

Mustapha noted that the affiliation demonstrates that higher education should go beyond classroom instruction to include moral discipline, entrepreneurship, and community service, reminding the graduates that real success would be measured not by grades, but by the positive impact they make in society.

In his goodwill message, former Vice-Chancellor of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Professor Sabiru Adesanya, commended the institute for its role in human capacity development and urged the graduates to remain worthy ambassadors of the institution.
