Ex Imo Deputy Gov Madumere commends Uzodimma over demolition of Shanties

The former deputy governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere, has commended the governor of the state, Hope Uzodimma, for the demolition of shanties and criminal hideouts.
Prince Madumere described the action of the governor as “laudable, highly commendable, holistic, and dynamic as this will go a long way to address the criminalities emanating from these shanties.
Prince Madumere made this known while addressing newsmen in Owerri, the capital of Imo State.
According to him, this move represents responsible and responsive governance as no government will watch criminal elements take over the space in the name of erecting shanties.
Prince Madumere urged the citizenry to support the excellent performance and move of the governor in clearing the state of shanties for the development and Sustainability of the state.
“This administration under the leadership of Senator Hope Uzodimma has performed marvellously, in dismantling shanties and dislodging criminal elements. This is apt, instructive, and quite commendable, as it will go a long way in restoring holistic peace and tranquility in the state. He called on the citizenry to support the move geared towards arresting insecurity ”
Prince Madumere highlighted that reports indicated that these shanties were breeding grounds for nefarious activities, which pose a threat to lives and property within these vicinities.
The former deputy governor eulogized Governor Uzodimma for his timely intervention aimed at sustaining a conducive atmosphere for businesses to thrive in the state.
Prince Madumere called on the populace, President Generals, Traditional Rulers, and
Stakeholders to collaborate with the state government in flushing out crime and criminality in their various communities.
He said, “We all have roles to play in building an egalitarian society, where everyone matters and we must contribute positively by being our brother’s keeper. Government must be supported in its quest to build a state of our collective dreams and aspirations.”
Prince Madumere encouraged the citizenry to keep hope alive, with optimism and enthusiasm, as we match forward with the “Journey of Grace”, which is embellished with the road map tailored towards navigating to the promised land of our collective inspirations, where Imo reviberates as the economic hub of Southeast.
