Niger APC hails appointment of it’s members into North Central Development Commission

It was jubilation galores as All Progressives Congress (APC) in Niger State has congratulated two of its prominent members, Hon. Halliru Zakari Jikantoro and Prof. Muhammad Bashar Nuhu Tachi, on their recent appointments to leadership roles within the North Central Development Commission (NCDC).
The duo was inaugurated last Friday in Abuja, with Prof. Nuhu Tachi assuming the position of Executive Secretary and Hon. Jikantoro joining the board as a member.
This was contained in a statement signed by the APC State Publicity Secretary, Musa D. Sarkinkaji, and the State Chairman, Alhaji Aminu Musa Bobi.
The party expressed deep appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for recognizing the contributions and leadership potential of the two Niger State indigenes.
Their appointments was described as a testament to their unwavering commitment to public service and urged them to represent the state with integrity, dedication, and innovation.
The party emphasized that their combined wealth of experience would be invaluable in advancing the commission’s mandate of driving development across the North Central region.
It therefore expressed confidence that Hon. Jikantoro and Prof. Nuhu Tachi would bring fresh energy and vision to the NCDC, noting that they carry the trust of the party and the people of Niger State.
They pledged the party’s unwavering support as they embark on their national assignment.
Hon. Jikantoro, a seasoned politician and administrator, has previously served as a member of the National Assembly, a Commissioner, and most recently as Chairman of the Niger State APC.
While Prof. Bashar Nuhu Tachi, on the other hand, is a distinguished academic and professional, holding fellowships and memberships in several prestigious institutions, including the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, the Nigerian Environmental Society, the Nigerian Institute of Management, and the Chartered Royal Institute of Surveyors.
Their appointments are widely seen as a strategic boost for Niger State’s representation in federal development initiatives and a promising step toward strengthening progress across the North Central zone.
