NFSSLC limited organize in-house capacity building aimed at increasing competitiveness, effective monitoring

Niger foods security system and Logistics Company Limited has held a one day in house capacity building in Minna the state capital.

With the Theme “Increasing the competitiveness of Rice through market oriented systems in Niger and kaduna state.”

Speaking after the workshop, program analyst Niger foods and Logistics Company, and the facilitator Rukkaya Salihu Ibrahim emphasized on the need of using monitoring and evaluation (M&E) in Niger food’s fields and data collection for effective monitoring activities.

Rukkaya said that the purpose is to know if data collected and the information from the fields are right.

She added that the capacity building will improve staff interactiveness, make operation smooth and active the goals of providing safe food with hight quality and also cut out loses in the food system.

She highlighted the importance of M&E just as she, urged the staff to use and explore the opportunity while focusing on the company’s goals.

She explained many growing concerns related to this cannot be sequarely addressed when people have no knowledge on what needs to be done,

Mrs Ibrahim however, commended the training funded by AGRA delivered by Niger Foods and technical partners Synergos.

Also speaking ,Niger Foods Data Analyst /I T Lead Muhammed Babakeke Adamu explained the aim of using data in farming as an computational experiment to grow and be analyzed using statistical and visualization techniques to obtain insights into the complex systems.
