The Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu has approved the sum of N1.14 billion to 445 contract staff gratuity and death benefit in the state.
This is contained in a statement by the Director office of the Head of Service (HoS), Rashidu Muhammad-Bala saying: “The approved sum of N1,144,428,745.74 is for the payment of gratuity and death benefits for the state contract staff.
“The payment is part of Kebbi State Governor’s magnanimity and efforts to streamline the state civil service through good governance.”
He then assured all the non indigene staff that the present administration under the able leadership of Kauran Gwandu “is for all”, irrespective of tribe and religious leaning.
