The Regy & Henry Amazing Grace Foundation, through its National Coordinator, Dr. Duru Regina, has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting youth participation in adult literacy initiatives across Nigeria.
Dr. Regina represented the foundation at the National Stakeholders’ Engagement on Youth Enrollment into Adult Literacy Programs, held in Abuja on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. The engagement brought together key stakeholders to discuss strategies for increasing literacy among young Nigerians who missed out on formal education opportunities.
Among the notable attendees were Comrade Noah Emmanuel, President of the National Commission for Mass Literacy, Adult and Non-Formal Education (NOGALSS), and Mrs. Nnenna Ejeji, Director of Vocational Programs at the National Mass Education Commission (NMEC).
The workshop featured robust discussions on bridging literacy gaps through vocational and non-formal education platforms, with stakeholders emphasizing collaborative approaches involving NGOs, community leaders, and government agencies.
Photos from the event captured Dr. Regina alongside Comrade Emmanuel, Mrs. Ejeji, and several other workshop participants, highlighting the united front in tackling youth illiteracy through inclusive adult learning models.
The Regy & Henry Amazing Grace Foundation continues to be an active voice in literacy advocacy, especially among vulnerable youth groups, supporting the belief that education is a fundamental right, regardless of age.
