Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Niger State Council has felicitates with the Special Adviser on Print Media to Niger State Governor Aisha Wakaso on her fiftieth birthday.
In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of the Union, the State Secretary of NUJ, Comrade Usman Chiji, described Aisha Wakaso as a mentor, motivator, and advocate of the emancipation of women and children.
Comrade Usman Chiji applauded the celebrant for her selfless service to humanity, using her chosen career to enhance the general well-being of vulnerable members of society.
He specifically praised Aisha Wakaso for her efforts in inspiring young females to take journalism as a profession, citing the annual awards to young female journalists initiated by the celebrant.
The State Secretary of NUJ also acknowledged the contributions of Aisha Wakaso to the growth and development of journalism, having worked in various reputable media organizations, culminating in her appointment as Special Adviser on Print to the State Governor.
Comrade Usman Chiji stressed that journalists, especially females, would continue to benefit from her fountain of knowledge through her educational and health awareness initiatives.
The State Secretary of NUJ, however, enjoined the celebrant not to relent in her determined efforts to promote the ideals of journalism and champion the cause of women and children in the State.
He then prayed God to grant the celebrant more years of sound health and wisdom to continue with her services to humanity and journalism in particular.
