Gov Bago boosts Niger pilgrims with SR300 each, seeks prayers for Mokwa flood victims

Niger State Governor, Umaru Muhammad Bago has gifted SR300 to each of the 3026 State Pilgrim in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He stated this when he paid a visit to the Pilgrims, to see how they were fairing at Muna camp in Makkah.
The visit has been the tradition of the governor every year, to visit the State Pilgrims in order to enhance their welfare and making their stay a memorable experience since his assumption of office.
The governor also announced that the return date for the State Pilgrims has been set for June 15,2025 given the hope for expeditious journey back home after the Hajj rites.
Governor Umaru Muhammad Bago appreciated the Amirul Hajj, the Executive Secretary of the Board, the officials and all the Pilgrims for their show of maturity and dedication to the Islamic rites.
He urged the Pilgrims to continue to pray for the State and for those who lost their lives in the recent floods in Mokwa.
He expressed deep sadness over the tragic incident in Mokwa, which resulted in the loss of many lives and properties, emphasizing the State’s commitment to providing support and assistance to those affected by the flood.
According to him, measures are already in place to assist the victims of the flooding and to prevent future occurrences, saying that the safety and well-being of the citizens are his top priorities.
