A new book titled “Leadership in the Nigerian Civil Service: Five Decades of Lessons in Performance, Encounters, and Triumph” has been unveiled and presented to the public. The book has received widespread praise for its outstanding contribution to the study of public administration in Nigeria.

Written by Goke Adegoroye, a retired federal permanent secretary, the memoir was launched on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at the Rotunda Conference Hall, Tafawa Balewa House, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It chronicles the author’s career and contributions to the Nigerian civil service.

In an interview with Standard Times Nigeria, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Chairman of the Book Launch, and former presidential candidate, His Royal Majesty Samuel Oluyemi Falae (Olu of Ilu Abo and Baba Oba of Akure Land), commended Dr. Adegoroye for documenting his experiences.

He stressed the importance of public officers sharing their stories for the benefit of future generations.
