Imo Commissioner commends President Tinubu, Uzodimma for purposeful, exemplary, exceptional leadership

The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Chief (Mrs) Ruby Emele has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma for outstanding performance, Purposeful, Exemplary, Exceptional Leadership and Vision over the past two years.
She made this commendation while briefing Journalists in Owerri, the capital of Imo State.
Chief Mrs Emele stressed that under the president’s leadership, significant advancements have been made in key areas such as infrastructure development, education reform, youth empowerment, security and health sector improvements, which have tremendously impacted the citizenry nation and citizenry.
The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs highlighted that in the area of infrastructure development,
the administration has prioritized the modernization and expansion of critical infrastructure projects, with life touching initiatives and programs.
Hon. Emele emphasized that president Tinubu has strengthened the transportation networks, improved public utilities, and enhanced connectivity that traditionally underserved communities now enjoy.
According to her, these developments have not only created jobs but also catalyzed economic growth and sustainability across the country.
Chief Mrs Emele, a technocrat revealed that in the education sector, President Tinubu has implemented transformative policies aimed at improving educational accessibility and quality learning .
She submitted that these programs have been introduced to ensure that all children receive quality education, regardless of their socio-economic status.
She said, “These efforts underscores the administration’s commitment to building a workforce equipped with the skills needed for future growth and sustainability.
According to her, “Recognizing the potential of our youth, the President has launched initiatives focused on empowering young people through entrepreneurship and vocational training. Programs like Youth Activity Dashboard, NIYEEDEP, which stands for the Nigerian Youth Economic Engagement and De-Radicalization Programme, have provided countless opportunities for our youths to develop their skills, contributing positively to local economies and fostering innovative portfolios.”
Chief Mrs Ruby Emele highlighted that amidst global health challenges, President Tinubu’s administration has demonstrated decisive leadership in enhancing the health sector delivery system.
“The rollout of health initiatives and programs has improved access to healthcare services and has made strides in public health safety, ensuring that citizens receive the care they need.
“In National Security, we take this opportunity to commend the outstanding efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his administration in ensuring a safer and more secure environment for all citizens.
“Under President Tinubu’s leadership, there has been a significant enhancement in our national security framework. His unwavering commitment to tackling security challenges head-on has led to impactful strategies that prioritize the safety and well-being of our people.
“We also like to recognize the exemplary work of the National Security Advisor, NSA, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, the Minister of Defence, Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, the Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Muhammed Bello Matawalle, the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Gwabin Musa, and the Service Chiefs. Their dedication, professionalism, and strategic oversight have been instrumental in executing the government’s security policies effectively. Together, they have demonstrated remarkable leadership and coordination, driving initiatives that have resulted in tangible improvements in various aspects of our national security.”
Chief Mrs Ruby Emele stressed that the collaborative efforts of these leaders have not gone unnoticed. Through enhanced intelligence operations, community engagement, and the reinforcement of our military capabilities, they have successfully mitigated security threats and fostered a greater sense of safety among our citizens.
