Eyeball Award: Provost dedicated awards to Gov Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq

The Acting Provost of Kwara State College of Health Technology, Offa, Mallam Jimoh Ibrahim has dedicated two (2) prestigious awards received by the Department of Dispensing Opticianry from the Optometrist and Dispensing Opticianry Registration Board of Nigeria (ODORBN) to the state governor Mallam Abdul Rahman Abdulrazaq.

This maiden edition of the Eyeball Summit was held in Abuja at Musa Yar’adua center on 15th May, 2025 to 16th May, 2025.

The award was received by Optician Ibrahim Liman Moshood, just as Chief Optician Akanbi Olivemi Abdulgatai , one of the esteemed staff of the College was recognized as the best health educator in Dispensing Opticianry.

While Receiving the Awards from the two staff in his office, the Acting Provost, Mallam Jimoh Ibrahim dedicated it to the Visitor to the College. Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq, (CON), for promoting an enabling environment for teaching, learning and research work.

He assured that the college management will continue to work hard to take the college to commendable level in the commity of professional colleges in the country.

According to him “His Excellency, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq, (CON), Chairman, Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), known for his visionary leadership and unwavering support for the education sector in the state has made this feat possible”.

A Don in the health department of the College, Mrs. Christianah Olawumi Bamidele, a core professional and scholar asserted that the Acting Provost, Mallam Jimoh Ibrahim is fit for the job, very steadfast and hardworking will take the college to a commendable level,

She declared “Kudos to the resourceful College management, staff and stakeholders for working hard to position the college to continue to deliver on its mandate”. Mrs. Bamidele added.

The College administrator assured that its workforce is well galvanized to attain excellence in health education and training while continuing to connect to global innovations in all its courses and training.

He reassured that the college will continue to produce job creators with sound moral content, Mallam Jimoh Ibrahim concluded.
