Remo Stars confirms superiority over Niger Tornadoes football club with 1-0 defeat

Niger Tornadoes football club weekend went down with one goal to Remo Stars in Title Deciding Thriller, in Ikenne, as Adedayo Olamilekan’s Goals Wins First NPFL Title For The Sky Blues Stars:

Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne was electric. The fans were buzzing with excitement and anticipation as the team edged closer to winning their first NPFL title in their 15-year history.

It was an incredible energy in the stands, especially with the stakes so high, but they had a wounded Tornadoes to contend with for 90 minute to decide their faith.

The Ikon Allah Boys still missing the services of key players like Ifeanyi Okechukwu, Victor Okoro, Joseph Godstime and Daniel Akanbek who was ineligible to play against his parent club, as well as Papa Daniel who was equally absent, were forced device a strategy to limit the hosts blistering attacking mindedness.

Tornadoes held on in the first half with a makeshift defensive partnership of Mohammed Hussaini and Idris Saidu that looked solid through out the duration of the game.
