No agenda against PDP in Bayelsa will stand —Kelvin Otele

By: Odie Ramon, Yenagoa.
A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State, Hon. Kelvin Otele, has described the recent alleged efforts to destabilise the party in the state as efforts in futility, saying no agenda formed against the party will stand.
According to Hon. Otele, the threats made by certain individuals in Nigeria to destabilize states, including Bayelsa, through social media propaganda and political manipulation have failed even before they began.
Hon. Kelvin Otele, who is also the Special Assistant on General Duties to Governor, said the alleged daily plotting—failed rallies, and now the desperate move to set up a caretaker committee—will not succeed, “Their hope to weaponize the courtroom to undermine Governor Douye Diri’s leadership will crumble. No man can play God.”
Otele, who described George Turnah, as a known greedy and selfish individual, contributed nothing meaningful during his time in the Bayelsa State Government, “He left in disgrace and is now parading himself as a political figure, even after insulting those who once supported him.”
“He is deceiving young people in Bayelsa and owes the public an explanation regarding the billions he received from the NDDC. It’s shocking to see the FCT Minister—out of desperation and a need to impress Mr. President—aligning with someone like George Turnah to carry out a so-called agenda of “fire” in Bayelsa State”.
“George Turnah holds no political weight. This path of destruction they want to sand-fill is a massive project doomed to fail. Bayelsa State remains a stronghold of the PDP.”
“Their failure in Rivers State to win election freely despite building 12 flyovers shows they lack genuine leadership support from the people’s mandate. I urge Mr. President to call his FCT Minister to order.”
“The Minister’s recent statements and actions are damaging the political image Mr. President has carefully built. The Jagaban political family is known for strategic wisdom, not reckless ambition. They triumphed in the last election through calculated perseverance, not chaos.”
“The actions of the FCT Minister do not align with the spirit of the Jagaban legacy. We are in a democracy, and the rule of law must prevail. The 2027 elections will be decided by numbers, not war, insults, or Jagaban Mandate, courtroom drama.”
“The Jagaban Mandate should copy Gov Douye Diri Mandate by uniting everyone together within his party and outside his party. The recent lamentations from friends and believers of the Jagaban Family in the North is not a Favoured Number in 2027 victory vision for Mr President.”
“To George Turnah: if you truly have a political agenda beyond social media noise, show it. For once, I am disappointed that the FCT Minister would align with individuals who have no political relevance, just to stir online controversy.”
“You claim to have supported Governor Diri’s election—were you not also supported in your political journey? Do you still respect those who helped you from your days as Chairman to your time in the Government?”
“God bless Governor Sim Fubara for risking his political career to fight for the people of Rivers State. I call on Mr. President to fully support Governor Fubara. That would bring hope and joy to Rivers people.”
“Now is the time for governance, not political scheming. Attempting to “write election results” years in advance will not work. The South-South is not against Mr. President; we seek only peace and progress.”
