Easter celebration: So-Safe ensures tight security in Ogun

The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation, and Safety Corps, also known as So-Safe Corps, has directed its officers and men to ensure tight security before, during, and after the Easter celebration in the state’s three Geopolitical Zones.

This was contained in the press statement issued by the State Commander of the Corps, Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo through the office of the Director of Information and Public Relations of the Corps, Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf.

The statement read that the agency’s tactical squads are to man places of worship across the State in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force, the leading agency. They are also to maintain routine patrols in the communities for a peaceful Easter celebration.

Ganzallo has advised commuters and travelers to shun driving under the cover of night and to ensure their vehicles are in good condition before they embark on any journey as criminals target damaged vehicles and stranded passengers during a season like this.

Ganzallo felicitates with Christians faithful across the State and beyond reminding them that Jesus preached the gospel of peace, practicalized it, and the same template we should all sustain.

He concluded by saying that we should celebrate in love and that the spirit of giving should not go down in us.
