Nasarawa Police Command donates cash to families of fallen Officers

The Nasarawa State Commissioner of Police, ShetimaJauro Mohammed, has Presented Cash Donation of Three Million Naira to Families of Three Police Officers that died in line of duty.

This was contained in a statement by the Command Public Relations Officer, SP. Ramhan Nansel on Monday which was made available to Newsmen in Lafia the State Capital.

According to the statement the State Governor Abdullahi Sule, gave the Money through the Commissioner of Police to be donated to the families of the three police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty on December 29, 2024, at Garaku, Kokona Local Government Area of the state.

Each of the families went home with one Million Naira.

The gesture according to the statement was aimed at cushioning the effect of the tragic loss of the Police men who were bread winners of their family.

While presenting the cash donation to representative of the various families, the Police Commissioner who expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, said the State Government is committed to the Welfare of Security personnel and their families in the State.

He encouraged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the funds in catering for their families and improving their well-being.

The Police Commissioner who commended the State Governor for his unwavering support, compassion and service to humanity said the amount given will go a long way in boosting the morale of officers serving in the state.

He tasked the families to make judicious use of the Money given to them.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Sadiq Khadijat, thanked the State Governor Abdullahi Sule for the kind gesture and assured that the funds will be used wisely for the good of their families.
