Gov Idris inspects renovated Gawasu PHC, pledges continued healthcare delivery

Governor Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, has reiterated his administration’s commitment to improving healthcare delivery in Kebbi State.

He stated this during an inspection visit to the recently renovated Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Gawasu Village, Birnin Kebbi Local Government Area. The governor emphasized that the total rehabilitation of the facility was carried out by his administration to enhance healthcare services in rural communities.

Governor Idris further announced that the state government would equip the health center with all necessary medical facilities to ensure optimal functionality.

He also directed the employment of healthcare staff to Gawasu PHC to serve at the facility.

Additionally, he assured residents that the center would be provided with solar power to ensure uninterrupted service.

He expressed gratitude to the people of Gawasu for their support and cooperation, urging them to sustain their commitment to the administration’s development initiatives.

The governor was accompanied on the visit by his Deputy, Senator Umar Abubakar Tafida; the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mohammad Usman Zuru; the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Yakubu Bala Tafida; the Head of Service, Alhaji Malami Shekare; and other top Government officials.
