The Emir of Keffi, Dr. Shehu Yamusa Chindo 111, has advised Nigerians to pray for their leaders, and make sure they don’t curse them.
Standard – Times Nigeria reports that the Emir made the statement, in a Sallah message to Nigerians, in his Palace, on Monday, 31 march, 2025, a day after Sallah, in Keffi, Nasarawa State,
Standard – Times Nigeria correspondent in an interview with the Emir, quoted to him have said: “First of all, the entire country must embrace peace, because conflict is all over, according to him, so that, one, Allah will forgive us, and also the members of the communities that lost their loved ones will also forgive each others.
Standard – Times Nigeria also reports that the Emir of Keffi, Dr. Shehu Yamusa Chindo III, PhD, charged Nigerians to be patient in a nosedive economy, according to the Emir, “patient is the best answer to all problems”.
He further advised Nigerians to pray for our leaders to succeed, his words: first of all, I will advise them to be patient, because the patient is the answer to all problems, and then Secondly, he said: “They must pray for our leaders to succeed, because prayers gives leaders guidance on how to rule and provide the need for the community, we must make sure that we don’t curse our leaders, when you curse them, they go astray, and they will not be guided and also we will not get what we want”, The Emir Statement read out.
