Youths of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Gbako local government councils of Niger state are compelled to bring the attention of Governor Mohammed Bago to a pressing matter that requires his urgent intervention.
In a “Save our soul” letter, the youths raised the issue of competency in the Local Government Area, which has become a significant concern that threatens the stability and progress of the great party, the APC, in the area.
It declared, “As you are aware, Gbako local government councils is a biased local government area in the State.
The governor was told that the consensus arrangement has created an imbalance in representation and resource allocation, which has led to growing discontent among the populace.
According to the aggrieved youths, “This situation, if left unchecked, may have far-reaching consequences, including the erosion of public trust and the loss of electoral support.
“Mr. Governor, we recalled your promise to deliver on the people’s needs, not just the interests of leaders seeking selfish benefits.
“It is time to prioritize the welfare of the citizens. Your leadership has the power to influence legislation and drive positive change.
“We urge you to use your appointment power to bring about improvements in education, employment, and other essential areas.
However, the youths added that the timely intervention of the governor was crucial in preventing the *APC* from sinking in the Gbako Local Government Council consensus.
Governor Bago was therefore urged to resolve the competency issues, restore public trust, and strengthen the party’s position in the area.
“‘We implore you, Mr. Governor, to take immediate action to address this pressing matter. The people of Gbako LGA are counting on your leadership to deliver on their aspirations.” the concerned youths submitted.
