Nasarawa Govt makes primary Health care services accessible to citizens

The Executive Secretary of Nasarawa State Primary Health Care Agency, Dr. Usman Iskilus Saleh, said that the State Government will not hold back her efforts to provide qualitative Health care services to the people.

Dr. Saleh gave this assurance in his Office when the leadership and other Members of the Correspondent’s Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists in Nasarawa State paid him a Courtesy visit in Lafia.

According to him, due to the importance of Primary Health care services, the State Government will continue to give serious attention to the sector, adding that the Abdullahi Sule-led administration has vested a lot of resources to improve primary Health care Centers at the current level of development.

Saleh, who thanked members of the Correspondent’s Chapel for the show of love and cooperation towards his Agency, charged them to contribute their own quota towards government plans to enhance the good health of the Citizens.

While advising the Chapel members to always confirm and balance their reports on issues that have to do with the Agency before publication, he promised to operate an open-door form of administration.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Correspondent’s Chapel in the State, Comrade Isaac Ukpoju, said they were in the Office of the Executive Secretary of the State Primary Health Care Agency to congratulate him on his recent appointment.

Ukpoju, who commanded the State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, to find Dr. Saleh worthy to be given the position, assured the appointee of the readiness of the Chapel members to give him the necessary support to enable him to succeed.
