IWD:Chairperson of SWS Ebonyi chapter urged members to engage in humanitarian activities

The Chairperson of Stand up for women Society (SWS) Ebonyi State chapter Mrs Aaron Gloria Onyinyechi .U. has appreciated all SWS members in the state for their commitment and improvement in humanitarian activities.

She said this, during the international women’s day celebration on Saturday 8th day of march, 2025. And also during their monthly meeting at Amusement park.

The Chairperson Commended all the members as they carried out the international women’s day humatarian activities by visitation to the Motherless baby homes in Nsugbe, Trinitarian foundation for Orphage and helples and St Vincent de Paul old people’s home Alo street Abakalik.

The event marked distribution of relief materials such as Diapers, tissue papers, snacks, detergents food items and some cash.

She Commended the international president of stand up for women Society Bar Mrs Deborah Ijadele-Adetona for her dedications who work in readiness for the growth and development of this organization stand up for women Society in Nigeria and of the thirty six states of the country and in diaspora.

In interview, the Chairperson said We are following the footsteps of our dear great mother of the state chief Mrs Mary-maudline Uzoamaka Ogbonna Nwifuru for her love and care given to the needy and the people charter of needs.

The care and love of the Governor’s wife to the people of the state is beyond measure, but speaks louder voice to God almighty. The work which she does through her pet project called Better Health for rural women Children and internally displaced persons BERWO is given hope to the hopeless.

In speaking the secretary of the forum stand up for women Society Ebonyi State Hon. Mrs Norah Nweke, appreciate Chief Mrs Mary-maudline Uzoamaka Ogbonna Nwifuru wife of the state Governor for her good work to the people of the state.

The Vice Chairperson of stand up for women Society Mrs Ikechukwu precious, Assistant Secretary Mrs Judith Ukpai, PRO Mrs Igwe Flora the Assistant welfare officer Mrs Anikezie Christian, woman leader Nwokpuru Chinenye and all the Standup for women Society members in the state who were present.
