Niger Tornadoes FC assures of support in their new found home away from home ground

Chairman of the Nasarawa State Football Association, Alhaji Usman Salisu Galadima, has assured management and players of Niger Tornadoes football club of home hospitality.

He gave this assurance when he received on a familiarization visit, a delegation of Niger Tornadoes management committee in his office.

Galadima emphasized that as North Central counterparts, Nasarawa is equally a home for Niger Tornadoes, and he encouraged the team to feel at home.

He also highlighted that the people of Lafia are peace-loving and enthusiastic about football, predicting a large turnout to support the team during their home matches.

The Chairman then led the delegation to the Permanent Secretary of the Nasarawa State Ministry of Youths and Sports Development, Dr. Ibrahim Adamu Alhassan, who equally extended a warm welcome to Niger Tornadoes.

He appreciated the team’s choice of Lafia City stadium and assured them of the ministry’s support during their stay.

The vice chairman of Niger State Football Association, Alhaji Yabagi A Baba who led the Niger Tornadoes delegation, expressed gratitude to the Ministry and the FA for their warm reception.

He added that the aim for the visit was to further strengthen ties between the two bodies.

Niger Tornadoes delegation was led by the vice chairman, Alhaji Usman Garba and the club’s Secretary, Jibril Haruna (Soja) alongside Shuaibu Yakubu (Labosa)

It could be recalled that after the ban on Bako Kontagora Stadium Minna, for failing to meet NPFL requirements to host league matches, Niger Tornadoes management chose the Lafia City Stadium as the team’s alternative home venue for NPFL matches pending the renovation of the Minna Stadium.
