Gov Oyebanji deserves second term for his style of Governance –Chairman Adamolekun

...As he flags off solar street light installation on major r6oad of Ikere City

The Executive Chairman of Ikere Local Government, Hon. (Sqn Ldr Rtd) Olu Egbejoda Adamolekun, today flagged off the installation of solar-powered street lights along the major road in Ikere to enhance security.

Chairman Adamolekun stated that the safety of lives and property is the top priority of his administration, which prompted this commendable project.

“Our governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has empowered us to continue providing essential social amenities to improve the well-being of our people at the grassroots level,” he said.

He noted that over 120 high-power solar street lights will be installed along the major road, from the Odo Oja roundabout to the Sawmill/Drivers Union garage on Ikere-Ado road. This initiative will significantly beautify our town and improve mobility for motorists.

The Chairman assured that the Council, under his leadership, will persist in its efforts to enhance the social and economic conditions of the residents.

He passionately urged residents to protect the infrastructure for the benefit of all and announced plans to revive the waterfall at the post office roundabout to beautify Ikere City, with contractors set to begin work soon.

While making these remarks, Chairman Adamolekun took the opportunity to commend Governor Biodun Oyebanji for providing the necessary support to execute these significant projects. “Ikere kete BAO and MCA deserve a second term for all they are doing. Let’s support them for more dividends and benefits,” he concluded.
