Industrial Revolution Work Group set to launch in Abuja

The Honourable Minister of State for Industry, Senator John Owan Enoh, is poised to inaugurate the Industrial Revolution Work Group, a collaborative effort with the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) and the Organised Private Sector (OPS). This initiative aims to revitalize Nigeria’s manufacturing sector, create jobs, and drive sustainable economic growth.

Scheduled to take place on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 8:30 AM, the inauguration ceremony will be held at the Bank of Industry (BOI Tower 2) in Abuja’s Central Business District. Media organizations are invited to provide coverage of the event.

According to a press statement from Dr. Adebayo Lawrence Thomas, Director of Press and Publiç Relations, Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment (FMITI), the Industrial Revolution Work Group is part of the Ministry’s efforts to promote industrialization and economic development in Nigeria.

As Senator Enoh noted during his recent industrial tour, the government is committed to providing support and incentives to industries, addressing challenges, and promoting made-in-Nigeria goods and services.

The event promises to be a significant step toward Nigeria’s industrial development, and attendees can expect insightful discussions and presentations on the country’s industrialization prospects.
