Ogun NUJ commends Isiaka on his appointment as Deputy Chief Whip

The Ogun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has lauded the appointment of Hon. Ibrahim Isiaka Ayokunle as the new Deputy Chief Whip of the Federal House of Representatives, describing it as a well-deserved recognition of his dedication, leadership, and contributions to national development.
In a statement signed by the Chairman, Comrade Wale Olanrewaju, and the Secretary, Comrade Bunmi Adigun, the Council emphasized that the position reflects Hon. Ibrahim’s legislative expertise and administrative experience, particularly as a third-term lawmaker.
They expressed confidence that he would carry out his new role with integrity, ensuring discipline, cohesion, and collaboration among lawmakers at a time when the nation requires unity and innovative solutions.
The NUJ also urged Hon. Ibrahim to use his position to advocate for the interests of his constituents in Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency and Ogun State while making meaningful contributions to national legislation.
They reaffirmed their commitment to supporting his tenure, emphasizing the crucial role of the media in bridging the gap between the government and the people.
The Council encouraged Hon. Ibrahim to engage actively with the press and maintain transparency in governance. They congratulated him on his new role and wished him a successful tenure that would bring progress to both the state and the nation.
