Nzuko-ora Nnewi PG election: I believe in transparency, accountability -Osumuoh

A leading candidate in the forthcoming Nzuko-ora President General election, Hon Jude Okwudiri Osumuoh has vowed to restore whatever his community lost in the past if he becomes their PG.
The Chief of staff and Protocols to the Executive Chairman of Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State,while addressing some of the Newsmen in his office on Thursday, 6th of February, 2025 said what he would do for his community has been registered in his mind waiting for the opportunity to unfold them one after to other.
As a result oriented person, he said if elected, he would first of all restore peace and unity in his community, Nnewi.
Osumuoh said security of lives and property would be granteered. He added that Nnewi community hall within six months in the office, if elected, he would start the project immediately with the help of their stakeholders, who according to him would be ready to contribute.
While addressing restoring their rights that have been taken away by the Government, Osumuoh affirmatively said through peaceful dialogue, They would regain Nkwo Triangle, which he called heart of the community.
Former Ndiakwu president said their rights in NAUTH would be restored” if he becomes their PG”.
Speaking on effective financial accountability, Osumuoh disclosed when he was Ndiakwu PG, he used to do audit every year. He said it was community money not his adding that when he assume office as Nzuko-ora NnewiPG, he would do same.
“I have been in so many leadership capacities. As would be PG, I have looked around, have seen that I have all it takes to take this mantle of leadership.
“If I win the election, which I know by the grace of God, I will win, I will not go there as a learner, I will start work immediately because I know what my community want and what our Igwe wants in his lifetime. Our people need a man of great honor and integrity which I know within me I have” he reaffirmed.
Osumuoh further said that his regime would accommodate non indigenes adding that they also contribute immensely to the development of their community,Nnewi.
“I have lived in Northern part. I witnessed what hospitality is, so Non indigenes in our community will have no reason to complain. If they are treated badly, we will look into it, which I know will not happen because our people are peaceful, loving and friendly” he said.
Speaking on his achievements while heading so many leadership positions, Osumuoh said as PG Ndiakwu, he built Ndiakwu Otolo Community Hall which according to him, his name was boldly written there. He further revealed he renovated their Health Centre, initiated Free Medical treatment with team of doctors from American, 3 times every year during his regime, revealing that he was the first PG to do such. He also awarded some of the roads and other achievements.
