Ododo’s one year in office: Omade congratulates Ododo, attributes his successes to democratic good governance of FGYB

Hon. Isa Omade has congratulated Governor Ododo Usman on his first anniversary in office, praising his impressive achievements in various sectors. Omade noted that Governor Ododo has successfully built upon the democratic governance principles laid down by his predecessor, Former Governor Yahaya Bello (FGYB), putting Kogi State on the right track of development.
Omade highlighted Governor Ododo’s notable progress in infrastructural development, healthcare, road construction, workers’ welfare, pensioners, students’ affairs, and support for the poorest of the poor. He attributed Governor Ododo’s success to his robust policies and programs, which align with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The Governor’s achievements in his first year in office are a testament to his commitment to democracy and good governance. His administration has made significant strides in various areas, including:
– Infrastructure Development: Rehabilitation of roads, construction of new ones, and upgrading of infrastructure.
– Healthcare: Improvement of healthcare facilities and services, ensuring broader access to quality care.
– Education: Revitalization of educational institutions, reinstatement of bursaries, and support for students’ affairs.
– Workers’ Welfare: Implementation of a minimum wage, prompt payment of salaries, and improvement of workers’ living conditions.
Omade urged Governor Ododo to continue on the path of progressive consolidation, building on the foundations laid by his predecessor. He prayed for the Governor’s continued strength, good health, and sound mind as he navigated the challenges of leadership.
