Three projects in Paiko LGA by visiting gov Umar Bago

Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State has inaugurated three projects in Paikoro local government area sponsored by the Council Chairman, Aminu Umar Yandayi.
The projects are an ICT center equipped with computers and a block of three classrooms within Zubairu Nursery and Primary School Paiko, as well as 5 Hectares of land for the construction of a Housing Estate.
The Governor applauded Paikoro Council Chairman for the developmental initiatives which he said would immensely add value to the area, adding that he is proud of him.
He said funds will be released to him directly through the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) under the Safe School initiative, to fence the School, and recommended that trees should be planted around the School and the Land for the Housing Estate in line with the Green Initiative of his administration.
The Governor called on other Council Chairmen in the State to emulate their Paikoro counterpart, and that doing so would complement the efforts of the State government in delivering dividends of democracy to the people.
He further stated that the Niger East Senator will provide water, among other interventions he will do for the School.
The Chairman of Paikoro local government area, Aminu Umar Yandayi, explained that the construction of the ICT and a block of three classrooms is to improve the quality of education in the Council and provide computer skills to the people of the area.
He further revealed that the Housing Estate project is to emulate the Urban Renewal policy of the Bago-led administration.
The Council Chairman announced the donation of land to the farmer Governor to construct his personal house within the Housing Estate as a way of reciprocating the farmer Governor’s love for the people of the Paikoro local government area.
