By: Jabiru Hassan,  Kano.

Christian community living in Bichi announced that they have been enjoying peaceful coexistence between the Muslim communities for decades, adding that the relationship would continue to exist.

This was expressed by Reverend Charles of Grace of God Church in an interactive session with our correspondent during the New Year special prayers held at the Church.

He stated, “We have been in Bichi Town for over 20 years without any misunderstanding, which indicates that Bichi Muslim communities and those who are non-muslims are living peacefully, and we are also peace-loving people always offering our prayers for Bichi local government, Kano state, and Nigeria in general”. He added.

Reverend Charles used the opportunity where he thanked Bichi leaders, elders, and traditional rulers for their fatherly intervention whenever there was something threatening peace and unity among the two Religious faithful.

In conclusion, on behalf of the entire Christian community living in Bichi Town, the pastor thanked the member representing the Bichi Federal constituency at the National Assembly, Engineer Abubakar Kabir Abubakar for taking everybody along. I’m his scholarship sponsor, adding that “The lawmaker is not biased in his programs.”
