The Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris, has inaugurated the Governing Board of Kebbi State Investment Promotion Agency (KIPA).

Inaugurating the Board on Tuesday at the Council Chamber, Government House, Birnin Kebbi, Gov. Idris said the aim was to streamline the effective management process in promoting investment development in the state.

The governor charged the committee members to be dedicated to their responsibilities and ensure the successful implementation of all outlined requirements.

“I am happy today because this is part of my administration’s mission and vision in fulfilling my goals by expanding the economy and internally generated revenue (IGR) of the state.

“Let me reiterate that I am delighted to work with you people because your appointment was based on merit. I promise to support the board to enable it to achieve the set goals and objectives,” he assured.
