The Emir of Lapai Alhaji Umaru Bago Tafida, the third, has turbaned the Dagacin Bina Alhaji Umar Mohammed Bina as the 11th Dagacin Bina community.
The coronation ceremony took place at the Emir’s palace in the Lapai local government area of Niger state.
In his remarks, Emir Alhaji Umaru Bago Tafida the Third called on the turbaned Chief to take his position with respect and integrity as well as obey the constituted authorities.
The Emir charged him with the need to ensure peace and unity in his domain and also eschew bitterness to achieve the development and growth of the community.
The Dagacin Bina, Alhaji Umar Mohammed Bina, in an interview with newsmen after his coronation, assured to carry along everybody devoid of any kind of discrimination.
Mohammed Umar Bina reiterated his commitment to serve humanity with the fear of God while calling on the people to support, cooperate, and advise him accordingly.
A certificate of recognition was later presented to the new Dagacin Bina by the Emir of Lapai.
