VeryDarkMan learnt theft from his mom – Blord speaks over N180m missing NGO funds
Popular Nigerian entrepreneur, Linus Williams, popularly known as Blord, has called out media personality Verydarkman amidst allegations of N160 million mysteriously vanishing from his NGO account.
VDM had previously revealed on Instagram that hackers had infiltrated the NGO’s website, resulting in the unauthorized withdrawal of funds.
He disclosed that authorities apprehended a suspect in Jos, Plateau State, and investigations are ongoing to recover the stolen money.
To prevent further breaches, VDM temporarily deactivated the NGO’s app and promised supporters regular updates.
Launched in October 2024, the NGO was designed to tackle Nigeria’s educational challenges, especially in underfunded rural communities.
It received widespread support, including a notable N100 million donation from renowned music producer Don Jazzy, with total contributions exceeding N200 million.
However, news of the missing funds sparked skepticism, with some members of the public doubting VDM’s claims and suggesting potential foul play.
Blord, who has had several social media disputes with VDM in the past, seized the moment to criticize the activist on his X (Twitter) account.
BLord referred to activist VeryDarkMan as a thief, adding that he learnt the act from his mother.
“@realbitcoinlord, Fear the Loyalty Of A Poor Man !! For a thief will always remain a thief, @Coolverydarkman na better thief, he learnt from his mother.”
