Seven years of Sterling Leadership: Hajia Aisha Suleiman’s Footprints in KIPL

Felele Housing Estate is in focus!
Hajia Aisha Suleiman inherited an abandoned 140 housing estate in a different dilapidating state in Felele built in 2011 with a mortgage loan from FMBN. This loan Amount has accrued interest and penalty to the tune of N1. 7 Billion.
Hajia Aisha Suleiman sent a high-powered delegation to FMBN, where both parties met to renegotiate and a total sum of N1. 1 Billion was written off from the total amount of N1.7 Billion leaving only, the principal sum of N640 Million, with the repayment method profiled for beneficiaries of the Housing Estate using the National Housing Fund Scheme (NHF) scheme. She engaged other resounding methods at no cost to the State in providing infrastructure in the estate (reasons why the estate was abandoned earlier).
The management of FMBN, beneficiaries of the housing schemes, and on-lookers are amazed at the speed she turned the estate around with the removal of heaps of debris that has solidified into mountains over time, the opening of internal roads, renovation and construction of boreholes, procurement and installations of streets solar lights that electrify the Estate in the night especially, before the main transformer was installed.
The entire houses in the estate are now fully subscribed, and beneficiaries are at different stages of payment while efforts are being intensified to make the place very habitable.
President Tinubu Renewed Hope Housing Initiative received the nod of Kogi State, as KIPL, under Hon. Aisha Suleiman, partnered with Federal Housing Authority Mortgage Bank to initiate an immediate take-off of the 200 Housing Estates.
Additionally, Lokongona Housing Estate is another magnificent project that will not be forgotten; the millions of naira projects are under the JVC with Mcdream concepts.

Under her administration, Hajiya Aisha Suleiman recovered 8 properties through private legal firms (Benue /Kwara 1974)
Kogi State liaison office in Kaduna was a shadow of itself before it received a touch of excellence from Hajia Aisha Suleiman.
Rehabilitation And Electrification Of Acharu Oil Palm
Hajiya Aisha Suleiman has made a tremendous effort to revamp and electrify the old abandoned oil palm machines in Acharu communities by connecting electricity transmission over 45km Egume, Abejokolo Ejule to the factory site where several communities along the paths are benefited and electrified.
Investment in Focus
KIPL has also signed Mou with Intech Financial UK Ltd, a Spanish company based in the UK, to establish a coal industry and Fertilizer production plants to provide Energy and organic fertilizer for both exports and domestic markets.
Furthermore, agreement was reached between CUSTECH AND INVESTOR to establish the world’s first and best research centers, cross – an exchange learning program between the Confluence University of Science and Technology Osara – CUSTECH, Osara, and Zaragoza University in Spain.
Hajiya Aisha Suleiman has been working with Omeiza Signature, a Nigerian company based in London, to establish international livestock markets first of its kind in Nigeria, Ajoakuta local government, Kogi State, which will provide huge employment opportunities and revenue for the State.
All these legacies of Hajia Aisha Suleiman’s sterling leadership in KIPL for seven years will no doubt generate more revenue for the benefit of the Kogi citizenry in many years to come.
