Dr Hashim Sulaiman Dungurawa: Promoting NNPP to mighty party

By JABIRU A HASSAN, Kano.

Dr. Hashim Sulaiman Dungurawa has been recognized as the successful party chairman who is rapidly boosting the New Nigeria People’s Party in Kano state with success.

It is very important to understand that the NNPP is gaining more strength in Kano State especially when its national leader, Senator Dr. Rabiu  Musa Kwankwaso, the executive governor of Kano State Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf, and  Dr. Hashim Sulaiman Dungurawa the state chairman of the party remained committed to the development of the party within a short period.

Despite so many challenges facing every political party in the present democratic dispensation, Dr. Hashim Sulaiman remained steadfast in keeping the NNPP flag flying, and it is a clear testimony that Dr. Hashimu’s stewardship is taking the party to a greater level.

I am of the opinion that Kano State is Nigeria’s political base where there are quite a number of prominent older days politicians that were into the system for decades and came from different political bases, ideologies, and Godfathers but due to his competency, Dr. Hashim Sulaiman Dungurawa stayed firmly to ensure that NNPP maintains its status as the ruling party in the state with optimum results.

Before I conclude, let me use this opportunity to bring three out of the many reasons for Dr. Hashim Sulaiman Dungurawa’s success in leading  NNPP despite all sorts of political issues in a big state like Kano. First of all, he always listens to party members once it is on party affairs.

Secondly, he accepts every advice that can promote the party, and finally, he respects his principles for enhanced and collective responsibilities in the party activities, which is regarded as a great secret to a leader’s success on the throne.
