Ogun State Federal Road Safety Corps, Ota unit has blamed the accident around toll gate axis of the state on excess speed, on the truck and violations of driving route on the bike rider
The accident which occurred at about 09:10hrs on Tuesday evening around toll gate, bible college, Ota, involves a DAF truck viehcle with registration number KTG 941YG, and a Bajaj motorcycle with know registration number.
The FRSC chief route commander Florence OKpe confirm the incident that the total number of 4 persons were involved in the accident and they were all male.
Florence however, further added that at the spot of the incident two person were instantly died and the remaining two were unhurt
She affirmed that the DAF truck was travelling along Lagos/Abeokuta route towards the toll gate, Ota, before the truck collided with the motorcycle rider who violated his driving route
The FRSC PRO Okpe confirm that the rider and the pillion died on the spot, and their corpses were deposited at Ifo general hospital morgue in Ogun State.
