From Bola Ojuola, AkureOne of the four indigenes of Ikare Akoko kidnapped along Ikare-owo road about three weeks ago Mr Basiru Adekile is dead.The deceased it was learnt never recovered from internal injuries sustained while in captivity.Mr Adekile was one of those abducted alongside Oniku of iku quarters in Ikare Akoko, Ondo state but were later released after the payment of N3million ransom.Mr Basiru Adekile was reportedly tortured by his abductors who held them in custody for about three days in the forest before collecting the ransom.Family source revealed that he had been terribly sick since his release and had gone from one hospital to another as a result of internal injury sustained while in the kidnappers’ den.Mr Adekile was said to have given up the ghost on Thursday.The family of the deceased in Ikare is now in pensive mood over the untimely death of their breadwinner.The suspected kidnappers have since been arrested by security operatives.in the state.
