
The National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) has advised Nigerians to protect themselves against COVID-19.Hanifa Hamza, the Kwara State Coordinator gave the counsel on Wednesday at a stakeholders’ training in Ilorin.The official urged people to go for testing, explaining that the virus was real and still spreading.Hamza further assured that sufficient vaccines were available across the country,.“COVID-19 transmission is crazy. Please don’t relax, it has come to stay like catarrh or malaria.”Hamza called for precautions, adding that people should not joke with hand sanitiser.“Take vitamin C, eat a balanced diet regularly, use your nose and booster dose,” she advised.Jessica Akinrongbe, NCDC Senior Emergency Response Officer advised people below 60 years to take precautionary measures against the virus.
