Yoruba Nation Activist, Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Ighoho has been released by the Benin Republic Government.

In a statement seen online signed by, Maxwell Adeleye, Communications Secretary to Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide claimed that  the freedom fighter was released to the leader of the group, Banji Akintoye and Professor Wale Adeniran, French Language Expert by the Benin Republic Government on Monday.

“The Activist was released on Monday to a Yoruba Leader and Leader of the Umbrella body of Yoruba Self-determination Groups, Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide, Professor Banji Akintoye and a French Language Expert/ Deputy Alana of Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide, Professor Wale Adeniran.

“Akintoye described the release of Ighoho as a Triumph of Truth over Darkness in Yoruba Land”, the statement aadded
