Buhari in Nasarawa, commissions several projects, hails Sule

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Friday last Week completed his two days Working visit to Nasarawa State after commissioning some Projects executed by the Federal and the State Government in the area.
The President who arrived the new Cargo Airport Kwandere in Lafia Local Government Council, through a Nigeria Air Force Chopper Number 5NFG2 at about 10:58am on Thursday, was received by the State Governor, Abdullahi Sule and other top government functionaries.
While in the State, the President Commissioned the new Cargo Airport in Kwandere, the Vocational and Technological Institute, the Modern bus terminal in Lafia, the Central Bank of Nigeria, Lafia branch, the 5KM Kilema -Barkin Ladi (BAD)- Shingle road and the NIPP/TCN 330KV/160KVA Power Sub Station in Akurba, Lafia.
He also inaugurated the Keffi neighborhood Market, the Keffi Square and the Karu bus terminal.
Muhammadu Buhari who spoke briefly during the Commissioning of the above projects, lauded the State government for providing projects that have direct bearing on the people.
The President who expressed happiness with the Nasarawa State government for providing such laudable projects that are capable of transforming the lives of the people of the State, said his administration will continue to provide infrastructures and services that would be of benefit to the people.
Earlier in his remarks, the State Governor, Abdullahi Sule thanked the President for finding time to visit the State as well as commissioned some of the Projects completed by his administration.
He said some of the commissioned projects were named after some past leaders due to their contributions towards the creation and development of the State.
Our Correspondent reports that the President also paid a royal visit to the Emir of Lafia, retired Justice Sidi Bagge and commended the traditional institution for its fatherly advice and contributions towards the peace need of the State and the Country at large.
Following the two days Official visit of the President to the area, the Nasarawa State government had on Wednesday last week declared Thursday a work free day to enable citizens of the area to come out en-mass to welcome the President.
