The Concerned Shiroro Youths Of Niger State have applauded and commended Senator Mohammed Sani Musa 313, who represented Niger East Senatorial District at the National Assembly for the timely distribution of relief materials worth millions of naira as well as cash gift to Internally Displaced Persons littered across Shiroro local government.
The presentation of the items took place at the weekend benefiting the three IDPs Camps of Gwada, Kuta and Zumba .
This was done at different times under the leadership of Alhaji Baba Sule Bisalla, Sarkin Shanu Zazzau Suleja, Chairman, Senator Mohammed Sani Musa 313 Advisory Council.
Concerned Shiroro Youths Of Niger State was firmly on ground to have first hand information about the humanitarian gesture.
According to the youths in a statement signed by Bello Ibrahim and Mustapha Yusuf the Items delivered to IDPs include 150 bags of rice, 20 bags of garri, 15 bales of blankets, 60 bales of mats, 3 bales of children clothes, groceries, seasonings among other essential commodities.
It was revealed that there was also a cash donation of one million and five hundred naira to IDPs in order to help them meet up with other challenges of staying and taking refuge in strange lands.
The Concerned Youths have therefore urged and implore the IDPs to endeavour to make judicious use of the relief materials despite the fact that same cannot be enough but only to cushion the effects of their displacement.
“This humanitarian gesture wouldn’t have come at a better time than now considering how the target beneficiaries are in dire need of intervention of this nature.
“Fleeing people have been impoverished as a result of low purchasing power arising from abject poverty which now force them to depend solely on handouts.” They noted.
Senator Mohammed Sani Musa, a seasoned lawmaker and aspiring chairman of the ruling party is well known for speaking loudly against ravaging insecurity.
He has in the period under review been championing the cause of his constituents especially as it relates to insecurity with rare gusto and heroic courage, uncommon resilience and consistency.
” In view of the foregoing, we urge other political office holders to emulate this ICT compliant Senator who is the Senate Committee Chairman on House Services for his foresightedness, selfless service to humanity, generosity and exemplary leadership style that is people driven and result oriented.

He is always very outspoken on issues that affect his constituents especially as it relates to advancing their collective interest and attracting huge Federal presence to his Constituency.” the statement added.
