Nnamdi Kanu, The self acclaimed Biafra Nation agitator and other supporters have been on the government’s wanted list for awhile now, and the Federal Government awaits the verdict of Hon. Justice Binta Nyako of The Federal High Court, Abuja.Kanu has been in detention of the DSS, Abuja since his arrest in Kenya and extradited to Nigeria.The movement by the Igbo youths has been put on hold and every meeting point by the Biafra Nation agitators were attacked by the Nigerian Police force and Nigeria military and many agitators were arrested.
On 14th September, 2017, Nnamdi kanu the leader of the Biafra Nation agitation was force to run for his life, when the Nigeria police force and the military attacked his country home in Abia State, Nigeria.Kanu was lucky to make it out alive but some of his cohorts were killed and while many were taken into custody by the police.Every since, peaceful protest has been initiated by the agitators,to celebrate the event of the this day.On 1st of May, 2022, the Nigeria Military launched an attack on the five eastern states code named ‘operation python dance’. According to statistics, operation python dance had more than 700 killed in the eastern part of Nigeria.The heat of this operation was Imo State where about 300 people were feared dead.The Nigeria Military has five of the Nnamdi Kanu loyalists and believers of Biafra Nation on their wanted list (Mr Chukwuemeka Julius, Mr Edede Emmanuel Chialuka, Christopher John,Nnamdi Ndidi).On 20th May, 2022 the Nwangele Local Government Area of Imo State, Chapter of the Biafra Nation agitator was attacked and member picked up in every corner in search of Kanu’s loyalists, the military arrested some of their family members and detained them for abhorring their sons.Some of the family member’s died in the military custody and no vindication has since be giving to the families.The Latest success of the military and police was the arrest of a close ally of the IPOB leader, Mr Chukwuemeka Julius who is the chairman of the said IPOB)Imo State chapter and he confessed that his fellow members are still on the run, while some have travelled out of the shores of the country.The Nigeria military has since then been investigating and promised that other members would still been hunted down.His arrest is said to lead to a close information by the strategic police and military formation set against the agitation members across the country.With believe that his second in command Mr Edede Emmanuel Chialuka is still at large and wanted because of his impact in the chapter, he was soul representative of the Imo State chapter, Mr Edede Emmanuel Chialuka was last seen on the 23rd of May2022 in Lagos by the police force. Investigation and findings are still ongoing, if seen, arrest and report to the nearest police station or to the FCT command,Abuja.
