Niger NASS member emerges APC candidate for fifth Time.

A serving member house of representatives representing Kontagora, Wushishi, Mashegu and Mariga federal constituency, Hon. Abdullahi Idris Garba (Maisolar) has emerged the APC candidate for the 2023 election.

Announcing the results in Kontagora, the Returning Officer, Ado Abdulkarim said that the incumbent lawmaker scored 216 votes against his opponent Suleiman Mazakuka who got zero votes with four invalid votes.

The winner of the primary who is the Campaign Director General of Governor Sani Bello’s Senatorial Ambition in his remarks, expressed satisfaction over the peaceful conduct and the confidence reposed, assured to deliver victory for the governor as APC flag bearer.

He appreciated the delegates and his constituency for finding him worthy for the fifth times to the national assembly, adding that the victory is for the entire constituency hence he would consolidate in achieving more development.

The lawmaker stated that he will be one of the most experienced in the next assembly and with the zoning of speakership to the North Central he is confident to get it and would bring much more developmental stride to the zone.
