The Chairman Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMFAC) Engr. Elias Mbam has called on Nigerians to think more about the things that will unite the country together now it’s facing security and economic challenges than those that will divide the nation .
Mbam gave the charge on Sunday while felicitating with Christians on the resurrection of Jesus Christ who died on the cross to liberate mankind from sin and death.
He however, charged Nigerians to value human life, provide help for the needy and the less privileged. According to him, taking right path will make life less difficult for everyone in the country.
Hear him”It is with utmost joy that I join my fellow Christians to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
“Easter is a time we commemorate the resurrection of Jesus who died on the cross to liberate mankind from sin and death. It is a time Christians and the world at large ponder on the sacrifices of Jesus for us all.
“Therefore, I urge my dear friends, the Ebonyi people and Nigerians to use this holy period to reminisce on the purpose of our existence on earth, especially at this time of mighty security and economic challenges.
” May we put more trust in God, value human life, provide help for the needy and the less privileged and make life less difficult for everyone around us. May we think more about the things that unite us than those that divide.
“For Ebonyi people, I urge that we use this holy period to pray for the growth of our young state, for peace among our communities and for our leaders, especially as we approach the general elections.
“Finally, May the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ unify the world, bring peace to our land and prosper us all.
Happy Easter, my friends”
