CoDA: Osinbajo, Abiodun, Jonathan Meet Obasanjo

Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo and Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun on Monday met with Former President Olusegun Obasanjo at his residence in Abeokuta
Osinbajo and Abiodun were meeting Obasanjo as members of the Coalition for Dialogue on Africa (CoDA).
They met with the Former President in company of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Abeokuta.
CoDA is in furtherance of the ongoing efforts by leaders across West Africa to contain threats to democracy in the region.

CoDA is attributed to the recent development in Mali, Guinea, and Burkina Faso as part of its reasons for convening the high-level dialogue.

The VP is expected to speak on the theme: “Rising To The Challenge of Consolidating Democratic Governance”.

Obasanjo, as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors, is expected to make contributions physically and virtually.

Those at the CoDA meeting are: Obasanjo, Osinbajo, former President of Serria Leone, Ernest Bai Koroma; former President of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan and a member of the CoDA Board of Trustees, Prof. Abdoulaye Bathily were at the opening of a CoDA High-level Dialogue.
