Auto crash sends eight persons to untimely grave in Niger

Eight people have been sent to untimely grave in a ghastly motor accident that occurred at Kwakuti along Minna – Suleja road in Paikoro local government area of Niger state.
The bus that involved in the crash with a Kano registration number KMC 297 ZU was conveying passengers from Katsina to Lagos.
It was reliably gathered that the injured victims were assisted by some good samaritans to the hospital at Gawu in Gurara local government of Niger State.
According to an eye witnessed, five men, one woman and a child were killed during the unfortunate accident that happened around after seven o’ clock in the evening on Monday, adding that some others sustained various degrees of injury.
However, confirming the incident, the State Police Command Image Maker, DSP Abdulwasiu Abiodun said that
On 07/03/2022 at about 1910hrs, there was a lone fatal motor vehicle accident at Farin-Doki village, via Paiko along Suleja-Minna road involving a Toyota bus with Reg. No. KNC 297 ZU driven by one Ilyasu Bala.
The vehicle was coming from Katsina heading to Lagos, while the driver lost control of the said vehicle at point around Farin-Doki village due to a reported mechanical fault developed by the vehicle.
Unfortunately, the bus summersaults while the driver and six others died on the spot, eight other passengers sustained various degree of injuries.
However, the Police patrol team attached to Paiko Division quickly moved to the scene and rushed the injured victims to the nearest Hospital for medical attention, while the corpses were taken to IBB Hospital Morgue.
