Two construction workers have been abducted along the Lambata-Izom road by terrorists in Gurara local government area of Niger state.
The incident occurred at about 10.00am on Tuesday.
According to motorists who had to wait until the terrorists completed their operations said that they heard a lot of shooting and several of them had to wait the terrorists left.
Motorists plying the route said that they had to wait for two hours before they were told that the road was free for them to continue their journey.
It was learnt that the construction workers whose numbers are currently unknown were beaten and tied up while two of them were taken away by the bandits.
