Women traders in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), under the National Association of Nigerian Traders (NANTs), have celebrated the association’s National President, Ken Ukoha, Esq., on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
The women, led by the FCT Woman Leader, Chief (Mrs.) Rachael Adewumi, visited the celebrant at his residence, where they offered prayers and expressed gratitude to God for his life, good health and the milestone achievement.
NANTs, the umbrella body representing traders across Nigeria, is headed nationally by Ukoha, whose 60th birthday provided an opportunity for members of the association’s women’s wing in the FCT to demonstrate their goodwill and appreciation.
Speaking during the visit, Adewumi thanked God for preserving Ukoha’s life and granting him good health, while praying for continued divine protection, long life, sound health and other blessings that make life meaningful.
The celebration also provided an opportunity for the National President to receive the women’s goodwill messages and respond to their show of affection, with further details of his remarks expected to feature in the report.
In his appreciation, Ukoha thanked the women for taking time out of their busy schedules to celebrate him on his 60th birthday, describing the gesture as a demonstration of love and solidarity. He offered prayers for them and particularly commended the FCT Woman Leader, Dr. Rachael Adewumi, for what he described as her effective and exemplary leadership.
He attributed the unity, peace, love and progress enjoyed by the women’s wing to Adewumi’s leadership, urging other members to emulate her commitment and leadership style. He also encouraged her to sustain the momentum and continue providing purposeful leadership for the overall growth of the association.
The NANTs National President further urged the women to continue putting God first in their affairs, remain united and supportive of their executives, noting that such cooperation would strengthen the association and help the women’s wing attain its desired objectives.
Ukoha concluded by praying for God’s continued protection, guidance and blessings upon the women, their families, businesses, friends, relations and well-wishers, expressing the hope that they would continue to experience success and progress in all their endeavours.
